The Cell One Road to Fame project is a search, throughout Namibia's 13
regions, to find a unique, undiscovered singing voice.
2. HAS THE SEARCH FINISHED IN ALL THE REGIONS?
Yes the roadshow crews have criss-crossed Namibia, covering more than
100 000 kilometers auditioning people in all Namibia's regions to
identify all the regional finalists who will represent their regions
in the knock out round phase
3. WHAT IS THE KNOCK-OUT ROUND PHASE?
The second phase of the project is the knock-out round. This phase
sees all the regional finalists meet in Windhoek to partake in various
tasks and activities and ultimately in the weekly knock out round
shows.
4. HOW MANY PEOPLE LEAVE THE SHOW EACH WEEK?
Starting on the 4th May 2 people will leave the show, then 3 on the
11th May, then 2 on the 18th May then 2 on the 25th May.
5. HOW MANY CONTESTANTS WILL GO THROUGH TO THE FINAL?
3 contestants will perform in the final concert
6. WHEN IS THE FINAL CONCERT AND WHERE?
The concert will be held on 30 May 2008 in the Eliam Namundjebo Plaza
in Windhoek
7. WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Tickets will be on sale at all the Cell One shops as well as from our
roadshow crews that will be travelling around Windhoek
8. HOW MUCH WILL TICKETS COST AND CAN I WIN ANY PRIZES?
Tickets will cost N$30 if you buy before hand and N$40 at the gate on
the evening of the 30th May. A grand prize for one lucky ticket holder
will be up for grabs to the lucky person who buys a ticket and is at
the concert on the 30th May.
9. WHAT IS THE PRIZE FOR THE ULTIMATE WINNER?
The winner receives a recording contract from Cell One, marketing
assistance for 12 months and becomes a brand ambassador for Cell One
for 12 months after he/she is announced the winner
10. CAN THE PUBLIC VOTE?
Yes.
